Performance Auto Group has participated in the 2016 Bolton Rotaryfest as a Gold Sponsor for the Family Fun Zone, and has helped raise much-needed funds for charities serving the region of Caledon.
The festival was held from August 19 to 21, 2016 at the Caledon Community Complex, and saw employees from Brampton and Bolton hold numerous activities to engage and entertain people. The team set up Performance Auto Group's event tent and vehicle displays next to the main stage, and attracted hundreds of people throughout the three-day festival.
A total of three vehicles were on display at the event, including a top-of-the-line 2016 Nissan Rogue from Bolton Nissan, a 2016 turbocharged Honda Civic Coupe Touring from Bolton Honda, and a 2016 turbocharged Hyundai Tucson from Bolton Hyundai. The three vehicles garnered lots of public attention, with people visiting them throughout the event and taking pictures of the striking new models.
The team also engaged visitors in games of Quick Buckets, with adults getting $250 Performance Auto Group gift cards as prizes and children awarded glow bracelets. The game proved to be very popular, with both adults and children lining up to play time and again. Over 200 gift cards and 150 bracelets were handed out in total.
Bolton Honda General Manager David Britton said that Performance Auto Group is deeply committed to serving the community, and that sponsorship of the Rotaryfest stems from that commitment. Bolton Nissan General Manager Kuljit Batra also said that he was very proud to have sponsored a significant event like the Rotaryfest, as it will raise vital funds for the Rotary Club of Bolton. Meanwhile, Bolton Hyundai General Sales Manager Rohit Grover said that the event's sponsorship will go a long way to assist charities serving the region of Caledon.
Performance Auto Group's sponsorship of the Bolton Rotaryfest and its participation in the event is a part of the group's Drive Change initiative, which ensures that our organization gives back visibly to the communities which we serve.
