MINI St. Catharines has held its 11th annual MINI Rally and has hosted over 200 people in a total of 99 MINI Coopers in the widely-popular event.
The Rally was held on June 10, 2017, and began at the MINI showroom with a free continental breakfast for all participants. This was followed by a photo shoot with the dealership's authentic 1975 Austin MINI Cooper. The rally began departing at 9:15 am in 20 car intervals every 10 minutes, and was taken on a scenic drive through the West Niagara region.
The route was planned around five different stops, and they all provided a unique experience and a free gift to every participant. De La Terre Bakery was the first stop, and they gave away free sourdough loafs and samples. Second was Cherry Lane, and they held free juice tasting and gave out bags of dried cherries. Fielding Estate Winery was next with free wine tasting, whereas the fourth stop was White Meadow Farm where everyone was handed a free maple gift bag.
The rally ended at the final stop of Ball's Falls Conservation Area, where participants were treated to a free barbeque lunch served in the spectacular Glen Elgin Room offering a panoramic view of the area's scenic woodlands. People were given free admission to the park for the entire day, and were also taken on a complimentary tour of a historic village square and two surrounding waterfalls.
The rally ended with a prize giveaway ceremony, where participants were awarded special MINI collectibles, carry-on bags, gas cards, restaurant gift cards, and Niagara IceDogs tickets.
The organization of the 11th annual MINI Rally by MINI St. Catharines is a part of Performance Auto Group's Drive Change initiative, which ensures that our organization gives back visibly to the communities which we serve.
