Brantford Toyota has participated in the Supporting Patient Care - One Step At A Time run, and has helped raise much-needed funds for the Brant Community Healthcare System (BCHS) and its Emergency Department.
The event was held on October 22, 2016 at the Waterworks Park in Brantford, and saw participation from over one hundred people. Brantford Toyota made a direct donation to the hospital to support its initiative, and also set up an event tent and distributed free water bottles to all participants.
The dealership's team also set up a vehicle display at the run, and showcased a brand new top-of-the-line Toyota Tacoma 4x4 Double Cab V6 with the TRD Sport Package. The truck was a Brantford Toyota Special Edition, and was equipped with a dealership installed lift kit and aggressive all-terrain tires. It attracted a lot of public attention, with people taking photographs and inquiring about its specs from Brantford Toyota staff all day long.
Brantford Toyota General Manager Ben Cliff said that the dealership's participation in the run stems from its commitment to serve the community. "Brantford Toyota has always been a proud community partner and is dedicated to supporting charitable initiatives, especially when it comes to people's health. We are therefore very happy to have participated in this run for the BCHS, as the money raised goes to the hospital's Emergency Department and contributes directly to saving lives," said Ben.
Brantford Toyota's participation in the Supporting Patient Care - One Step At A Time run is a part of Performance Auto Group's Drive Change initiative, which ensures that the organization gives back visibly to the communities which it serves.
