Brampton Auto Mall Celebrates Canada Day with 100,000 Revelers

Brampton Auto Mall has celebrated Canada Day in style with a day-long celebration in Brampton's Chinguacousy Park, and has given away hundreds of gift cards.

The event was held on Friday, July 1, 2016 from 7 am till midnight, and saw Performance Auto Group employees from Brampton Auto Mall hold numerous activities to engage and entertain people. The day's highlights included a big Brampton Auto Mall tent, games of Quick Buckets, and a massive 18 ft tall beaver that was featured in the Vancouver Winter Olympics.

The beaver garnered immense public attention at the event, with thousands of people flocking to see and picture it throughout the day. The team also engaged visitors in games of Quick Buckets, with adults getting $250 Brampton Auto Mall gift cards as prizes and children awarded glow bracelets. Over 400 gift cards and 240 bracelets were handed out in total.

Ashley Ward, Marketing Coordinator at Performance Auto Group, said the turnout at Chinguacousy Park was excellent and visitors to the Brampton Auto Mall booth loved the beaver and the Quick Buckets game. "The game was played all day and well into the evening, with hundreds of people taking home Brampton Auto Mall gift cards. The event was very successful at demonstrating Brampton Auto Mall's community initiatives," said Ashley.

Performance Auto Group's participation in the Brampton Auto Mall Canada Day event is a part of the group's Drive Change initiative, which ensures that our organization gives back visibly to the communities which we serve.
